How can I find the blower fan resistor on a 1995 Chevrolet lumina van?

Should I work from under the hood or should I work from inside the passenger compartment? If inside the passenger compartment is it behind the passenger side glove box or behind the radio? If under the hood do I need to take out the blower fan? I bought the Hayes book and it doesn’t even mention the resister so the only info I have is by looking at the part and it looks like it seats against thee fire wall but I havent been able to find it by looking.

Try tracing the wiring back from the blower motor. The resister pack in most cars is located in the ventilation air stream to cool it, so look along the ducts. start under the hood just because it’s easier to eliminate that area first.
