Unlike humans, dogs and cats can not regulate their body temperature by sweating, so they are more prone to heat exhaustion and heat stroke. Signs of heat stroke include rapid panting, weakness, red or pale gums, and the thick sticky saliva. Watch your pets often on hot days, and keep it fresh by:

• Provide fresh, cold water often, especially after the activity, add ice cubes to the bowl.
• Keep in the shade if it were a dog.
• Use a fan cash to provide a breeze.
• Bid surface cooling for your pet, such as a cooling bed or frozen toy to chew.
• Get a group of children from low cost for your dog to take a refreshing dip.
• Groom to remove loose hair to keep your pet more comfortable.

NEWS 3. Being pro-active </ b>

• Despite the heat, your pet still needs exercise. There are many ways you can make the experience more pleasant for him. Limit trips to the morning early or at night when it's cooler. Use reflective collars and leashes for walks after dark. If you have to walk your pet, at noon, avoid prolonged exposure to asphalt surfaces to prevent burns leg platform.
