Tips for starting a "hard start" boy push mower.?

I have a boy 5hp lawnmower pupsh it is very difficult to start. There was another who has given me, because the owner abandoned it because it was very difficult to start. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make starting?

Try changing the spark plug, and check all the cables, to ensure that there is something loose. In addition, carbohydrates. could be defective, and you are not getting enough fuel to start it. I always go to the spark plug first, and just put a new one there as they are easy to change. The best lawn mower around the Honda. I use commercially, and are the best.
